Now Hiring - Executives are planning to add staff and increase compensation in 2011
While the U.S. economy has been improving and growing for the last year and a half, companies have been slow to hire. According to the Accountants International 2011 Compensation, Benefits and Workplace Trends Guide, almost two-thirds of companies surveyed experienced some growth in 2010 with over half predicting 2011 to outperform 2010. To meet higher demand, many businesses have relied on existing employees to increase their workloads and some have even cross-trained their staff to maintain productivity. Still, as growth potential continues, executives are starting to acknowledge that they have reached the limit of what their existing staff can accomplish and for the first time in three years, finance executives are planning to hire.
